Jade Bloom Psychoeducational Services, LLC
Jade," inspired by her daughter's middle name, and "Bloom," reflecting her love for all things floral, Gracen Rivers has long dreamed of creating her own practice.
Gracen believes that, just like flowers, every child thrives under the right conditions and grows at their own pace. Her practice is built on the philosophy that with the right support, encouragement, and understanding, every child can flourish in their own unique way.
At Jade Bloom Psychoed, evaluations go beyond scores and data — it's an opportunity to understand the whole child and provide support for both academic and social-emotional well-being. Whether it's seeking guidance for learning differences, attention, or social-emotional growth, or help navigating the special education process, Jade Bloom Psychoed is here to support your family every step of the way.
Gracen Rivers is a South Carolina and North Carolina Board of Education–Certified School Psychologist II, Nationally Certified School Psychologist, and Licensed Psycho-Educational Specialist. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Master of Science in School Psychology, and Specialist in School Psychology from Francis Marion University in Florence, SC.
With seven years of experience across public, charter, online, and private school settings in addition to private practice, Gracen has supported children with a wide range of learning and behavioral needs. She conducts comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations addressing cognitive, academic, and social-emotional functioning, with particular passion for Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, and learning disabilities. Gracen has a strong interest in the Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) framework and believes that early identification and evidence-based practices are the key to student success. She enjoys consulting with parents and professionals to navigate the special education process to help ensure every child receives a Free Appropriate Public Education (FAPE).
Outside of work, Gracen enjoys being a mom to her four-year-old daughter, tackling home projects, and building LEGOs. A fun fact—during graduate school, she worked as a background actor in Georgia and has appeared in several television productions.
